We're partnering with a company in North Houston that's looking to hire an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations in a global, fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving improvements, working cross-functionally, and owning the numbers end-to-end.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Required experience with international and intercompany accounting
• Transportation or logistics industry experience strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations within complex global ERP systems
• Drive process improvements and stronger controls across accounting functions
• Supervise full-cycle AP, including review and approval of disbursements
• Lead revenue reporting, reconciliations, and controls
• Manage month-end and year-end close, including the annual audit
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors
• Provide leadership over general accounting, fixed assets, cost accounting, and controls
• Support financial reporting, budgeting, and tax processes
• Participate in or lead system and software implementations
